2024 Winners Announced for Ocean Springs Bud & Burgers Contest
(Ocean Springs, MS) – On Saturday, September 14, the 3rd annual Budweiser
Bud & Burgers Competition, tailgate edition was held downtown at the L&N
Depot Plaza. With college football on the big screen, beer garden with various
craft brews and teams that competed for the best burgers around, hundreds
came downtown to taste and vote!
While attendees enjoyed live music by artists Zach Fellman and sampling the
teams’ burger bites, judges reviewed the teams’ competition burgers. Judges
tasted each burger for juiciness, quality and presentation.
Best of Show went to the “Paddy Pounders” led by local George Cumbest.
Paddy Pounds also won People’s Choice. First place winner was A-1 Air led by
Denise Newbill. And the Chamber’s Choice was awarded to Champion
Gourmet for her sweet personality and quality
The event was hosted by Budweiser and the Ocean Springs Chamber of
Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau and sponsored by The Butcher on
Tucker and Images Galore.
