There’s a food culture in Ocean Springs – a vibe that’s picked up all over town in the more than 100 restaurants and bars, numerous food-centered festivals and special events – making this a dining Mecca for foodies.
Ocean Springs has exciting nightlife options and is home to some of the best entertainment selections on the Coast. With more than 100 restaurants and nightlife venues, there is always plenty of live music and fun in town. Music can be found on most nights of the week at many of our restaurants and bars located downtown, uptown, all around town. Other activities including pop-up art shows and karaoke are also common events at various nightlife venues.
Free Food Fridays
Free Food Fridays are held each Friday in May when gift certificates are given away for free food on the Chamber’s Facebook page to those who “like” and “share” the contest details as they are posted each week.
Taste of Ocean Springs Food & Wine Festival
Held the second Thursday in May. It’s an exciting event with white lights, white linens and an array of food and beverages served by a selection of our restaurants and nightlife venues. This festival, as well as other festivals and local restaurants, features live entertainment that adds pleasure to our dining Mecca.
Bud & Burgers Cooking Competition and Tailgate
The Bud & Burgers Cooking Competition allows for home cooks, restaurants, businesses or organizations to assemble teams to compete for prizes for the best burger. Teams will bring their grill and cook burgers of any variety.
