It’s almost impossible to walk down the Oak-lined streets of Ocean Springs without seeing local artwork. The heart of Ocean Springs’ art culture began with the Anderson family. Walter and Peter Anderson were brothers that both were gifted with artistic talents. Walter painted organic designs and Peter created beautifully shaped pottery pieces.

Throughout the years, art has popped up everywhere including on sides of buildings and in parks. Thanks to the efforts of the Public Art Project (PAPOS), those pieces are documented. From public art installations to galleries large and small, art is everywhere you look.
