Ocean Springs Chamber – Main Street joins WLOX and Chevron for a Back-to-School Drive
The Ocean Springs Chamber’s Visitors Center is currently serving as a drop off location for the 2024 Back to School Supplies Drive hosted by WLOX.
To help students succeed WLOX, Chevron, Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street and many other partners want to help our students thrive by collecting donations through the school supply drive. Now through Wednesday, July 31, individuals may donate and drop off school supplies at the Ocean Springs Visitors Center located inside the historic L&N Train Depot at 1000 Washington Avenue. Look for the big cardboard bus in the lobby and drop your donations in.
“The Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street is proud to be a partner with Chevron and WLOX in this back-to-school drive,” says Cynthia Sutton, President and CEO of the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau. “We want to help ensure students start the school year off with tools they need to be prepared for successful learning.”
School supplies such as bookbags, pencils, scissors, glue sticks, eraser caps, washable markers, index cards 1-3 ring binders, composition notebooks, graph paper, sheet protectors, staplers, post it notes, paper towns, Band-Aids and more are needed.
