35th Annual Artwalk to Kick Off Festival Season in Downtown Ocean Springs
Ocean Springs, MS – August 6, 2026 – Downtown Ocean Springs will come alive with art, creativity, and community as the 35th Annual Artwalk returns on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Hosted by the Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street-Tourism Bureau, Artwalk is made possible through the participation and sponsorship of downtown businesses and artists, which partner to create a unique art experience throughout downtown. This free, one-day event marks the beginning of festival season in Ocean Springs, inviting visitors to slow down, explore downtown, and enjoy a day filled with art, shopping, dining, and creativity.
During Artwalk, local artists are showcased inside primarily outside of businesses, transforming downtown into a walkable gallery where visitors can discover original artwork, meet the artists behind the creations, and experience the charm and hospitality of Ocean Springs’ locally owned shops and restaurants.
“Artwalk celebrates everything that makes Ocean Springs special—our thriving arts community, our locally owned businesses, and our welcoming downtown,” said Cynthia Sutton, CEO of the Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street. “Whether you’re an art enthusiast, shopping with friends, or simply enjoying Labor Day weekend, Artwalk is a wonderful way to experience the creativity and character of our community.”
Downtown businesses are currently registering to sponsor and host artists for the event, creating partnerships that highlight local talent while encouraging visitors to explore businesses throughout the downtown district.
As summer gives way to fall, the 35th Annual Artwalk is the perfect way to kick off Ocean Springs’ exciting festival season. The public is encouraged to mark their calendars and spend the day discovering art around every corner while supporting the artists and businesses that make downtown Ocean Springs such a vibrant destination.
