(Ocean Springs, MS) – On the evening of Saturday, October 28, the streets of
downtown Ocean Springs will be filled with witches riding to bring good cheer
to little ghouls and goblins in the annual Witches Ride of Ocean Springs event.
Beginning at 5:30p.m., more than 400 witches will take over downtown riding
on bicycles delivering tricks and treats for all. The ride will begin on
Washington Avenue near Joseph Street (north of the Walter Anderson
Museum of Art). The parade of adults dressed in proper Halloween fashion on
their bicycles will head north on Washington Avenue, turning right onto
Government Street and ending at Ward Avenue near the Mary C’s Spooky
Springs Haunted house event. Spectators of all ages are encouraged to attend.
Immediately following the parade there will be a post-ride party taking place at
Mosaic restaurant. Awards will be given out, and live music, drink specials and
more will be part of the festivities.

In addition to the parade, spectators are invited to participate in a Halloween
Pub Crawl hosted by the Witches Ride of Ocean Springs that will begin at 4
p.m. on Saturday, October 28 at participating restaurants. Pub Crawl cards can
be purchased for $10 at www.oswitchesride.com. Costumes are encouraged.
Cash prizes will be awarded on October 31. Participating restaurants include
Mosaic, The Red Apple, Lost Springs, Neon Moon, The Lady May and Glory
Bound.
