Local Artist Adam Plitt Selected as 2026 Peter Anderson Festival T-Shirt Artist
OCEAN SPRINGS, MS — August 19, 2026 — The 48th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival is proud to announce Gulfport artist Adam Plitt as the creator of the 2026 commemorative festival T-shirt.
Plitt was on hand Tuesday evening at Marcello’s – Taste of New Orleans in downtown Ocean Springs for the official unveiling of this year’s festival T-shirt artwork.
The artwork beautifully captures the legacy of the Anderson family and the tradition of the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival. The design features Peter Wade Anderson throwing pottery, with small festival-inspired accents woven throughout the artwork, including tents and other details that represent the festival.
Plitt’s design honors the Anderson family legacy while celebrating the festival that continues to bring artists, makers, businesses and visitors together in Ocean Springs each year.
“We are excited to have a local artist like Adam tell the Peter Anderson story through his artwork,” said Cynthia Sutton, CEO & President of the Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street-Tourism Bureau. “The design pays tribute to where the festival came from while capturing the energy and character of the festival we know today.”
The 2026 Peter Anderson Festival T-shirts will go on sale in September at participating retail locations throughout Ocean Springs and online.
The 48th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival will take place November 7–8, 2026, in downtown Ocean Springs and will feature approximately 400 artists and makers from across the country.
