Ocean Springs, MS – September 28, 2026 – The Peter Anderson® Arts & Crafts Festival, presented by Blue Moon, has been recognized as one of the Top 200 Best Shows in America by Sunshine Artist magazine, a national publication serving the fine art and craft show industry.
The annual recognition is part of Sunshine Artist’s 2026 200 Best rankings, which highlight the country’s most profitable art and craft festivals based on artists’ reported sales from 2025.
The recognition places Ocean Springs’ signature arts and crafts festival among a select group of shows nationwide, highlighting the importance of the festival to artists, the local business community and the region’s tourism industry.
Now in its 48th year, the Peter Anderson® Arts & Crafts Festival will return to downtown Ocean Springs on November 7–8, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The two-day event will feature more than 400 artists, crafters and food vendors from across the country, drawing visitors to experience the arts, local shops, restaurants and historic downtown.
“We are honored to receive this national recognition and proud of what this festival represents for Ocean Springs,” said Cynthia Sutton, CEO of the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau. “This festival is about more than art. It brings visitors to our town, supports our small businesses and gives artists an opportunity to share their work with thousands of people. It’s a tremendous team effort, and we’re grateful to everyone who helps make it happen each year.”
The Peter Anderson® Arts & Crafts Festival honors the legacy of master potter Peter Anderson and Ocean Springs’ longstanding reputation as an arts community.
