Ocean Springs Chamber – Main Street Celebrates May with Free Food Fridays to Spotlight Local Dining Scene
OCEAN SPRINGS, MS – April 29, 2025 –May is full of flavor in Ocean Springs with
the return of Free Food Fridays, a beloved tradition hosted by the Ocean Springs
Chamber-Main Street to shine a spotlight on the town’s thriving culinary scene.
With more than 100 restaurants, cafes, and bars throughout town, Ocean
Springs continues to earn its place as a premier food destination on the
Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Each Friday during May, the Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street is giving away
gift cards to local restaurants through its social media platforms, offering a fun
and easy way for people to discover (or rediscover) the wide variety of flavors
found around town.
“This is our way of showcasing the incredible talent and diversity within our local
food scene,” said Cynthia Sutton, President & CEO of the Ocean Springs
Chamber-Main Street. “We want folks to experience just how special dining in
Ocean Springs can be—from hidden gems to long-time favorites.”
Free Food Fridays is part of a month-long culinary celebration that builds
excitement leading up to the community’s signature food event, the Taste of
Ocean Springs Food & Wine Festival. Although this year’s event is officially
sold out, the energy continues all month long as locals and visitors engage with
the dining scene through giveaways and restaurant highlights.
