Kick Off Festival Season in Ocean Springs with the 34th Annual Art Walk

(Ocean Springs, MS) – Mark your calendars as downtown Ocean Springs will come alive
with creativity on Saturday, August 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as the 34th Annual Art
Walk kicks off “festival season” with a fresh lineup of artists and local flavor.
This beloved tradition pairs talented Gulf Coast and regional artists with local businesses,
transforming sidewalks, storefronts, and galleries into vibrant spaces filled with paintings,
sculpture, handmade jewelry, and more.
“Art Walk is more than a shopping day – it’s a celebration of local culture and
connection,” said Cynthia Sutton, Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street-Tourism Bureau
CEO. “We love watching people stroll, sip, and soak in all the creative energy that makes
downtown Ocean Springs so unique.”
Visitors are encouraged to dine at local restaurants, browse the boutiques, and support
the makers that make our coastal town shine. The event is free and family-friendly, with
artists working live throughout the day.
Artists interested in participating should reach out via the Art Walk Downtown Ocean
Springs Facebook page or contact a downtown business directly. Space is limited and
partnerships are filling fast.
Join us on August 30 for a day of creativity, community, and commerce in historic
downtown Ocean Springs.
This year’s event also serves as the official kickoff to “festival season” in Ocean Springs,
launching a vibrant fall filled with non-stop festivals and events including Cruisin’ the
Coast, Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival, Blue Moon Art Festivities, Halloween
celebrations, and more.
