Ocean Springs, MS – May 19, 2026 — Hundreds of foodies attended this year’s Taste of
Ocean Springs Food & Wine Festival, held Thursday, May 14, 2026, in downtown Ocean
Springs outside the historic L&N Depot. Attendees from across the Gulf Coast and beyond
came together to taste, sip and vote for their favorites.

Attendees voted throughout the evening for their favorite culinary experiences. Salt &
Sand BBQ Company earned the title of “Best Entrée” in Ocean Springs for 2026. Trilby’s
took home the title of “Best Dessert” in Ocean Springs for 2026. The honor of “Best Drink”
in Ocean Springs for 2026 went to a mocktail collaboration from Eat Drink Love and 701
Craft.

This year’s event featured more than two dozen participating local restaurants alongside a
variety of wine brokers partnering with Fort Bayou Wine & Spirits to provide wine tastings
throughout the evening, while Mitchell Distributing offered a selection of beer samples for
guests to enjoy.

Adding even more creativity to the festival experience, this year’s event incorporated live
art demonstrations and interactive artistic elements throughout the venue. Guests enjoyed
live fashion illustrations by Katie Rose, pottery art and cheese from Lisa Fazzio, and a nearly
10-foot live painting created during the event by artist Zach DePolo.

Live music from Caution Swing Bridge helped create a festive atmosphere as guests
sampled signature dishes, desserts and beverages from participating vendors.
